Mission
To promote sustainable human development of youth and women, by connecting them to knowledge, experience and resources necessary to improve their quality of life and environment
The core activities of the organization are youth and women’s economic empowerment and environmental management.
History
Connecting hearts of women for positive change Initiative aka Connecting Hearts Initiative. Started informally about 8 years , when the visioner had a burden to see women excel in life and fulfill their God given potential irrespective of the challenges they were facing. She invited her friends to join in praying and this gave birth to the first Connecting Hearts women’s conference in 2010. The organization was formally registered in 2011 with the Corporate affairs commission of Nigeria.

OUR PROJECTS
Climate change adaptation project in 12 secondary schools in Ibadan South east local government Ibadan Oyo state
The goal of the project is to promote planting of economic trees to address environmental problems in 12 secondary schools in Oyo state. At the end of this project
9600 pupils in 12 schools have access to portable water
10% increased awareness on climate change mitigation strategies.
Increased income generation of N75,000 from sale of trees propagated
6000 trees would serve as shade, wind breaker and provide purr air.
Establishing of 12 climate change clubs fit the sustainability of the project in 12 schools.
Fruits produced from the trees will serve nutrition needs of the students.

Project 100/10. Ladies of Honour
Connecting Hearts initiative CHI over the years has contributed to reduce the impact of various socioeconomic factors. The continued degradation of human dignity especially among women and young girls who resort t commercial sex work has been our focus. We provide spiritual, psychological, educational and vocational skills support this vulnerable group.
CHI refers to female sex workers as “Ladies of Honour” the project targets to nurture 100 LOH between the ages f 15 and 35 years spanning over an initial period of 10 years.( q to be cared for in a 12 month period).
The ladies will be sheltered mentored equipped with skills for alternative economic support fr themselves.

Over the years we’ve had these conferences to equip women to fulfill their God given purpose.
It’s a time of true refreshing in the presence of ur creator. Over the years several women’s lives have been enriched and empowered.
